While my formal education is in Social Work and Psychology, I was fortunate enough to work in the Space Program for 25 years before my career ended immediately following the last Shuttle flight. It was truly a sad day for many of us but as they say, life must go on! As much as I loved the Space Industry, real estate has turned out to be a second passion for me and I was thrilled when I got an opportunity to get involved. Prior to getting my license I spent three years working as an assistant in a real estate and property management office and knew I was in the right place. As I enter my 7th year as a licensed agent, I can honestly say this is one of the best jobs anyone could be lucky enough to have. I have learned so much in such a short time and look forward to continuing that journey. The majority of my listings have sold within the first couple of weeks and I have successfully represented some wonderful buyers in the purchase of a new home. I'm attributing much of this to a fantastic and dynamic market but hopefully my guidance and expertise played a small part. When I bought my first home over 30 years ago, my realtor was a very successful and extremely busy lady, but always made me feel as if I was her only client.
